We understand that these little ones this young learn much differently than older children, so our Taekwondo Tigers Program is specifically designed for these preschool-aged children.
While similar in many ways to our Karate Kids Program, the Taekwondo Tigers Program is more geared towards helping the students in certain major areas:

| • | Improving the students' ability to pay attention and follow directions through structured activity. |
All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. This program works together with the Karate Kids Program, emphasizing the same important monthly themes and value system.
Just like in the Karate Kids Program, Taekwondo Tigers have their own special Award Stars. Stars are earned in the same way as the Karate Kids Program, with some changes because of the preschool age of the child. Several different colored stars are available with the addition of distinctive ORANGE stars that can be earned by a high achieving Taekwondo Tiger.
The rank and testing system used by the Tigers is also slightly different than the older Karate students. The course is designed for Tigers to advance a portion of a belt rank at a time. This allows the Tiny Tigers student to have a ready sign of their advancement and enhances their sense of accomplishment. It also allows the student enough time to learn and practice the material of each belt rank before moving on to the next color belt.
Upon turning the age of five or six, depending on the individual child, the Tiny Tiger is invited to graduate into the Karate Kids Program. They then "move up" and begin to come to the "Big Kids" classes.
