Learn Martial Arts!

Our goal at Mazzarella Martial Arts is to build a complete, well-rounded Black Belt Martial Artist. Our curriculum is designed to train students both physically and mentally, to build strong minds and strong character as well as strong bodies.
Before we go into the specifics of our style, we should share our philosophy of the Martial Arts in general. Is there one "ultimate" Martial Art that is "better" than the others? In our experience, we have found that the quality of the Martial Arts student depends far more on the quality of their teacher than that quality of their Martial Art. That is why we strive to provide all our students with the highest quality instruction possible.
That being said, the core of our style is Godae Yong Taekwondo, a style drawn from Korean Martial Arts. Taekwondo typically involves more kicking than other Martial Arts, and is a dynamic and fun workout for students of all ages. In addition to the basic Taekwondo in our Martial Arts curriculum, we also teach effective self-defense techniques drawn from various martial arts such as joint manipulation and throwing techniques from Aikido and Hapkido, ground fighting and grapling methods from Jiu-Jitsu, and pressure point control tactics from many other Martial Arts.
